Yesterday I was asked who or what is the warrior…
My thoughts today are that the warrior is one who masters the self.
I wrote my version of the warrior a while back here is what I wrote, enjoy.
The Warrior
Nation, Tribe, Family, Love
Great power sent from above,
The spirit that moves inside our soul,
The feelings that dare us to be bold,
The action to move despite fear,
The winning confidence that draws us all near,
The wild and rebellious side of our youth,
The Power to change the world with a blink,
The ability to over come fear when we think,
The mysterious energy that will appear,
Anytime we are faced with fear.
The confidence and ability to be,
The one we were created to become.
The power of knowing all will be well.
Even when we face the fires of hell,
The fire that holds us from being our true self,
The thoughts of society that tear us apart in the self.
This power that comes from unity and strength,
Knowing we are never alone,
No matter what challenges we face.
“United we stand and divided we fall”
Unity is the greatest strength of all.
The warriors cry is heard by one and all,
Death before dishonour even if we were to fall.
The code is unity, integrity and honor,
Harnessing the everlasting power.
To choose every day and live by the code,
The warrior is always committed to the word.
